Thankful for the Response of Jobcase to COVID-19

The world is an anxious place currently due to the growing situation of COVID-19. Despite the many things I am stressed about at this time — myself or my loved ones catching the virus, learning to work in a new environment (from home), the possibility of a recession, etc. — I couldn’t be more thankful for how my employer Jobcase, Inc. has handled the outbreak.

Jobcase is the only social media platform dedicated to empowering the world’s workforce.

Jobcase.com is built to help workers improve and manage their work-lives. In our community of more than 105 million “people helping people,” members share advice and support every day. They can connect with each other and potential employers, and get access to resources, tools for self-improvement, and job opportunities in their area. Currently, the Jobcase membership represents about 80% of working Americans — including hourly workers, tradespeople, and folks without a 4-year college degree.

We have seen a tremendous increase in questions regarding companies and their responses to COVID-19 and our team is working around the clock to provide the most up to date content and informative resources for our members. I am overwhelmed with the kindness and dedication of my fellow employees, who are just as anxious as the rest of the world, yet they find the time to be present on our platform daily, encouraging and informing members.

Associates employed at our stores will continue to receive full pay and benefits during the closures.

At Jobcase, we are constantly advocating for our members. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many members have lost their jobs or pay for the time being. We applaud companies like Vans who are continuing to give full pay and benefits to associates even throughout store closures. Our members and employees will continue to be customers and supporters of Vans because of their response.

If you or someone you know is looking for a place to network, exchange support, and/or find employment come to Jobcase.com and make a profile! Feel free to connect with me on there as well and shoot me a note! Myself and my colleagues are eager to help in anyway.

Internally, Jobcase leaders don’t just talk the talk and preach about continuing benefits and flexibility to the employers on our site, but they walk the walk! We are doing our part to flatten the curve and maintain social distancing by continuing to work from our homes. And Jobcase strongly advocates for workers — to make sure they are protected and valued in the workplace.

I’m grateful that Jobcase cares about my health and success as well as the health and success of our members during these times and all the time.
